I want to buy a fast growing big dark blue ceonathus ,you see a fair few around this time of year. I don't trust the garden centre photos and they haven't always got them all. I chose one before for my previous garden but it was a bit of a paler blue. I would like the really dark profuse flowered one . And are they all fairly hardy? My last one seemed to be.

I got mine 4 years ago from Homebase and it's still going strong today. It's getting ready to flower at the moment and it always looks great.
Ceanothus Concha has dark blue flowers in spring;
Ceanothus Puget Blue has deep blue flowers May to June
