Our Granda's grave has white stones on it, something like flint. The thing is they are quite dirty and I was thinking of cleaning them. What would be a good way of doing this to get them sparkling clean. I assume I'll have to remove them to somewhere else to clean them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Use a powerhose on them, as I did.
How do you get a power hose into a graveyard?

I think that ageing tombstones look lovely. Don't try to clean them up.
Try a small toothbrush and some bicarbonate of soda with some water, will come up a treat!
I moved recently and the patio area's paving stones were really mucky and horrible. So on the spur of the moment, I got a bucket of warm water with a couple of capfuls of Flash liquid in and went over them with a broom - it worked wonders!
The answer is in the question Whifffey.
