to start with. Was a bit tricky as its a funny shape bathroom and small too - quite hard work!

Got to do the walls next. Hope I haven't taken on too much of a task here! :-S

Well done angel! I hate ceilings, the walls are much easier!

Thanks rinkins.

Dad got a bit stressed cus got a bit on the carpet - covered floor and everything but must have got a splodge on cover and maybe stepped on it and went through to carpet. Cleaned it off now. Got it on a few other things too like taps so dad was a bit annoyed but he was pleased when I finished it. Hope I don't fall out with him while doing it.

Feel like I've got a long way to go as need to do walls, skirting boards, cupboards and door. Not sure how many coats it will need and maybe need to rub down woodwork before I paint it (uh oh)
There is one important thing to remember when decorating, never let another person into the room until you've finished for the day and everything is cleaned. It's stressful enough painting as it is, without somebody blowing down your neck! As for the woodwork; if the paintwork's in good enough condition a good rub down with sugar soap will be fine.

haha yeah thats true although can't really lock my dad out the bathroom lol he might not be too happy as it is his house

thats the only trouble with helping family out in some situations can make you fall out, touch wood hasn't been too bad so far just the odd grumble.

Hope I can cut in to the ceiling with the colour paint for the walls though otherwise it might be more than just a grumble.

Overall so far it hasn't been too bad
