gas hob burner won't stay lit

one gas burner on my neff hob won't stay lit. it lights but won't stay on. all other 3 burners work ok

if the burners are fitted with thermocouples then you need a new thermocouple.

if they aren't fitted with thermocouples then the injector is probably blocked with grease or dirt and needs cleaning.

Thanks for that. Is the thermocouple the prong like thing that sticks up next to the igniter ?
