Plastic/Vinyl Garden Shed

My garden shed has reached its end, falling apart. I need a new one and am considering a plastic/vinyl/resinetc one.
They are a bit pricey compared to wood but will need no maintenance which will be good! Any pros and cons I should think about? Any good or bad experiences?
I plan to spend �500 max. Looking for a wood effect if possible

Hi Papaleekie, my father had one of these a while ago and as you say the good thing is that there is no maintenance with them, but as the plastic/vinyl gets older it gets brittle and being plastic you may find it hard to repair. They often change the design of them too so getting parts for them can be difficult. After having his for a few years my father`s decided to go flying one night when a good wind caught it, he does live on corner plot though. Needless to say he got proper one after that LOL. Others may have better experiences with them though.
There are some coated steel sheds around.I put one up 4 years ago and its looking good.Stuck styrene foam on roof underside to avoid condensation.Try http://www.metal-sheds-online.co.uk/ , or google " Metal Sheds"
