I have a UPVC back door in the kitchen and even with the heating on the kithchen is always cold.We have to sit with the living room door closed or you can feel the draft. Its one of the door where you have to lift the handle right up on the door for it to close. When the door is closed you can push the door and feel the movement in it and the draft all the way round.I have had a look and cant figure out how to stop the movement.D you think i could take the rubber seals from round the door and replace them with some new ones,do you think that would help?? Just been laid off from work so cant really afford to have anyone out to have a look at it.Any help would be great. Thanks !

It sounds like the door latch needs adjusting to get a tighter fit.

On my front door the plate that the latch strikes has two screws securing it to the frame. Loosening these screws enables you to move the striker plate forward and get a tighter fit
Most mechanisms on PVCu have rollers which you can adjust with an Allen key. These should then compress the gaskets as you lift the handles.
Some have fixed tabs instead but should then have adjustable keeps on the frame.
Often the whole door will go out of shape and need the panels or glass repacking first.
If the gap is all around then the hinges will need adjusting too.
