Radiator bleed screw size

I have had to change the bleed screw in my radiator, but the diameter of the screw is different from those I can see in the shops.  Do they come in different sizes?

They do come in different sizes, for example 1/4" or 3/8" B.S.P etc. bsp stands for British-Standard-Pipe thread.

If you can take it out, any good plumbing shop will supply it.
