Never heard of this company, but they have just the cooker I want at a reasonable price.

I am wary of review sites as it is so obvious that the manufacturers and / or sellers often put their own reviews in, getting free advertising.

Anybody know anything? Any opinions?

Have had this make of oven for over 10 years and it has always been reliable. Parts are easy to come by (i needed a new door handle)

That's great, thanks :)
Their a high quality German Company, plenty of outlets in the UK.

Had one of their fridges and after 10 years one of the hinges broke, rang them and had a new one within a week !

That's good to know, Toureman, although it is a French company :)

To be honest Ethel (and I say this as an ex appliance engineer) there really isn't much difference between any makes when it comes to ovens and cookers they are really simple devices and there isn't much that can go wrong with them..

90% + of faults on electric ovens and cookers are elements burning out, and as most elements are made by a few manufacturers regardless of the actual brand of cooker they are fitted you see little difference between expensive and cheap cookers when it comes to reliability.

The only place you really see a difference is on the other main fault that cookers have, which are door faults (hinges breaking etc) but those problems are normally caused by rough treatment (or children swinging on the doors!!) so probably not an issue for you.

Thanks for that, Chuck

This cooker is only one I've found with everything I want, except for the hugely expensive Miele one
