Do all external Christmas lights come with the large 'transformer' style plug, or can they be bought / changed to an ordinary plug?

How does anyone plug in their external Christmas lights � from outside or just trailed through a window or door?

Disco Fever

All my outside xmas lights are low voltage except for the rope light that is 240 volts but the rope light is sealed to stop ingress of water and the plug is inside on a socket protected by an RCD device....
