Has anyone ever over-wintered geraniums by hanging them upside down in paper bags and, if so, did they survive?

Doesn't sound good. They're best left in a pot & just dampened, but out of the frost.

i've read this method in old gardening books but hae'nt tried it. I agree with terambulan's method. But would be worth trying your method with one easily replaced good luck
