My son made some tomato soup in school that he bought home in a flask.

Got it in Tesco

Tesco at half the price, considering it's just for cooking in school did me fine

Thanks for the help, but the teacher recommended not using a flask cos there are chunks of veg :(

http://www.thermos.co.uk/ do a good one. Go to their site and click on 'products' . This will download a pdf file. Go to page 38 (which is actually page 39 of the catalogue and only the 6th page of the pdf file !!!) and look at the stainless steel flasks. I use the 1 litre one for work. What it does not show is that the whole black top comes off, so you could drop an apple in it if you wanted to (just trying to show the size of the aperture), so chunky soup is no problem.
He is only bringing some soup home, what are you going to do with the container afterwards lol, do parents have a container, for cold tepid, warm, medium, hot, hotter, bleedin hot, mega hot, commonsense let it cool, is it is last lesson in school????, maybe you need one of those radioactive phials that can hold a litre of chunky soup and a like!!!

lol - so where do I get the radioactive phials then???

but yeah, you are right, the lesson is lunchtime so it will have cooled somewhat

Thanks everyone, for my first ever question on here, you've all been great, cheers
my son also cooked his at lunch time & it was still hot when he bought it home.
