Double Glazing Estimate...

I live in a tenement flat in Glasgow and am hoping to put in double glazing in the next couple of months. I will be getting 3 or 4 quotes , but have no idea of any kind of ball park figure to expect. I have seven windows (and possibly one door) to replace. Thanks very much.

It really depends on the size of the windows. For a 'normal' sized house window it's usually about �250 or around �500 for a UPVC door.

I am unsure of costings but being consious of variable price range you should surely get a better deal . Hope so.

Funnily enough we recently replaced 8 windows and a door. The windows ranged in size from small bathroom ones to 2 large front bays. The total cost was �4600. The door on its own was �550. We had quotes for less, but chose pricier options to get the quality.
