Hi all, I've moved into a 2 year old house so the fireplace surround is a horrible modern cream veneer standard boring thing that I hate. What can I do with it without going to the expense of replacing it entirely? Thanks all!

I had teh same problem. A builder took it out for me and just put cardboard over it. He painted it sort of chocolate colour. It looked neat and nice. You can try that I guesss.
