Do I need to get do a home information pack for my flat that I am selling privately? The guy that's buying it hasn't mentioned anything and is buying to refurbish and rent out. I have moved out and am living in rented accommodation. Any advice will be much appreciated, thank you

I'm selling my house privately - do I need a Home Information Pack?

If you are marketing your property, even if it's just by putting a 'for sale' sign in the window, you need a Pack. Sales where no marketing takes place (e.g. to a member of the family) won't need a Pack.
Yes, you do, even though most people realise theyre a waste of time and money.

Technically, you dont have to actually provide the Pack, only to have applied for it. You can actually refuse to give the Packs to potential buyers anyway under certain circumstances.
