My cousin has recently purchased some new pine bedroom furniture and each night she sleeps and awakes in the morning with what appears to be bites all over her body, her GP has confirmed that they are bites from some parasite but is unable to clarify further. all bedroom windows are closed and this is not happening anywhere else in the property. Other people have slept in the bedroom and have awoken with bites. Does anybody know a logical explanation for this and what parsites live and breed in pine or possibly mattresses.

Does your cousin allow animals in the bedroom padger?
If not, bed bugs might be to blame. Mattresses should be vacuumed very well, and preferably have an anti-mite protector on them.
