Same oil as your car if the engine in the lawnmower is a 4 cycle as opposed to a 2 cycle. Any good multi-weight (10-30) or single viscosity... I'd recommend 30 weight (assuming similar classifications to here in the U.S.)...

You can buy special lawn mower oil in diy/garden shops. You dont need very much though.
