Lemon tree pruning - will fruit come back?

After a severe prune, will my (formerly) large lemon tree bear fruit again? Its been 2 years, tree is doing well but not sign of fruit.

It should do. You've created an imbalance between the roots and the top and the plant is now putting all its energy into redressing this, two years isn't very long compsred to the life of the tree, so wait a while and enjoy the fruit when they come
