moss in seed trays

I inevitably get green moss on the surface of my seed trays and after the seedlings have been transplanted.

What causes in & is the any way to stop it?

Moss is caused by damp & shady positions,so move your plants to a brighter place and scrape the moss off the soil. It also helps to add some good drainage to the bottom of the pots before filling. Type `Moss` in Google search engine for a full explanation of moss. HTH
