Connecting open fire to radiatiors and water

I live in Northern Ireland and have an open fire - as well as oil heating! i am wondering how much it would cost to re connect the open fire to heat the radiators and water, so i dont have to use the oil as much! Thanks

Unless your open fire has a back boiler, this is a non-starter. These used to be quite common until the 1970s - Baxi were a major manufacturer.
Otherwise you would have to change the fire for starters.
The old saying " how long is a piece of string " springs to mind. It is impossible to know how much this is going to cost you. Without knowing and seeing the job to access how much work is involved or even if it is possible. The only way of finding out is to get some experts round to measure up and then they can give you some quotes.
