Out a sign up, advertise it in shop windows, in the local paper, get an estate agent round etc etc

What do you mean, it is fixed price? Is that price you want for it? It is competitively priced or are you over valuing it?

Is it for sale at the moment and if so, how long has it been on the market?
Sell it for 30k, that'll shift it quickly.

If it's not selling, look at similar properties in the area, see what they're going for - make sure you're not overpriced.

Make sure the place is clean and tidy and doesn't smell of pets or smoke, watch some housey programmes to get an idea of how best to shift your property.

This is the time of the year when the market starts picking up so you may get some interest soon
Get in touch with your local paper and persuade them to run a story in the property section along the lines of 'is this the best bargain on the market in our town?' 68k is very very cheap and the paper might just like getting a quirky story - and you get loads of publicity for free!
Make it clean and tidy as you possibly can. Spruce it up and make it look like a show home. Nice cushions, vase of flowers etc.

I saw some of the series of Selling Houses and some of the houses that had been on the market for over a year were full of clutter and completely untidy.
68 K!!

Be lucky to get a garage where I live for that....

It has been on sale with a local agent for 2 months. I pick up the keys to my new house tomorrow so the house will be very uncluttered soon, it will have no furniture at all.
