To remove the wall tiles, you will nead a hamer and boulster chisel(50-70mm wide). Simply removethe tiles by tapping the chisel inbetween the wall and the tile whilst holding it as flat against the wall as possible. depending on how good or bad the walls are will determine how easily the tiles will come off. You may need to do a bit of patching to the plaster afterwards. To remove the polystyrene ceiling tiles, simply scrape off with a paint scraper.
Why not leave them?

Because at the moment it looks like a frog has thrown up all over the room as they are a disgusting green!
