Rubber sponge strip

Does anyone know where my husband can buy about 2 metres of rubber sponge strip about 1inch wide. He needs it for the underside of the seat of his fishing box. It acts as cushioning between the seat/lid and the main box. it needs to be able to stick to metal. We have looked everywhere and spoken to loads but to no avail. We have not been able to trace the makers of the box either.

You can buy various sizes of sponge in Dunelm - if there's one near you.

Give 15mm sponge pipe insulation a try.

You can buy that from B&Q or plumbing shops, then cut it in half maybe.

Neoprene rubber strip will last longer than soft foam which soon disintegrates...try car, caravan, camping supplies or there's some on ebay
