I have British Gas and the prices do seem to be coming down. My friend had a British Gas rep at her door yesterday and he said their prices were due to drop again in January as they now have their own pipe line. Don`t know if this is true but you might wait till then before you change and then decide.

Pea Pod - Thanks for that. We had just had a new electric statement through & it seemed a bit steep! You tend to forget now it's cold and wet, we are using the tumble dryer ect... ect... We were going to wait till the new year anyway before deciding! Thanks for your feedback xx
Hi skyep,
You may want to compare what you are paying first before deciding to switch. I know for a fact last year British Gas were one of the most expensive fuel providers out there. They were also advertising for people to freeze their payment at that level in case of more rises. Rolling in it springs to mind here... Anyway this site is a very good unbiased comparison for utilities and other things.
