I have noticed that due to the steam in my bathroom from the shower, the paint above on the ceiling seems to be cracking and peeling away. Which is the best paint to use which is specifically designed for bathrooms against steam and damp?

do not use emulsion paint in a bathroom, it is water based and will not give you a durable hardwearing surface.

the only paint to use on a bathroom ceiling is eggshell finish, which is an oil based paint giving a strong durable, hardwearing surface which won't flake or crack and will cope with condensation and water vapour.
