I have an 8 year old acer (maple) tree. The leaves have gone brown and crinkly around the edges. Can anyone offer advice please?

this often happens at this time of year due to high sunlight and possible drying out. Just make sure you keep it well watered if you have it in a container. The leaves will drop in Autumn anyway and it will recover ok.
