Can anyone offer some advice regarding forget-me-nots please? I sow some seeds in planters earlier this year but they have so far failed to flower. The leaves are starting to change colour and naturally, I am disappointed that they haven't flowered. Can anyone give me some advice as to why this might have happened?

forget me nots are normally a spring flower so they shouldn't flower this year now, it sounds as if you planted too late and missed their flowering period. I would say if you can leave them until next spring, you should have some flowers then. The leaves do die off .

Thank you Jules001. I should have read the seed packet a bit more closely. If I had done, I would have known that the sowing was roughly May to July, September/October is to separate the bunches and plant further apart, and then expect flowers next Spring. Your advise has been really helpful but I really should read instructions properly.
