I want to make some loft blinds or curtains for my velux windows, has anyone been able to do this without spending a small fortune on official velux blinds ?

Several designs have been produced as an alternative to Velux Blinds, but if you do have Velux windows it is worth spending that little bit more for a blind which is designed to fit your window. http://www.soeasyblinds.co.uk have a range of Velux Blinds including Roller Blinds, Blackout Blinds, Pleated Blinds and Venetian Blinds. All at very low prices, hope this helps!
