We need new taps fitted on the basin in the bathroom. this is a central basin tap with pop up waste. We also need new taps on a vanity basin. We have purchased the taps ourselves & wonder how much we can expect to pay a plumber to fit them. Would be grateful for replies to give us some idea. thank you.

thanks for your answer. We have had a couple of plumbers round both of which have been recommended by others. The first one quoted about 80 but the second one who came this morning has quoted an astonishing 280!!!!!!!! he reckons that because the pedastal under the sink will have to come out he would also have to remove the sink because the sink would not be supported whilst he was doing the work hence the high cost!!?? he knew full well we had already got the taps 'cause he looked at them to make sure all the fittings etc were there. anyway, thanks for replying, I do appreciate you taking the time
