not much luck in our new home we.ve got sky downstairs, upstairs are aereal leads for tvs and an aereal on the chimney stack, plug aereal into tvs and nothing tried tuning tvs still nothing

The arial lead from the main antenna on the chimney stack may go into a splitter/booster box and then it goes to the various rooms around your'e home. Have a look for it in the loft and check the fuse has not blown and that all the connections are tight and not come loose. Failing that you will have to get a guy in to check the arial has not moved in bad weather and is recieving a signal and al its connections are sound.
