I have some pale blue mugs that have got really stained inside from tea and coffee. No matter how much I scrub them, the stains won't come off. Any ideas on how to remove the marks? Many thanks.

Try something like Steradent (for dentures), or just soak them overnight in the washing up bowl with very hot water and about half a cup of washing powder. A quick, light scrub and they should be as good as new.
Hi Emz26
You can also use bleach in warm water, soak for a few minutes, but remember to wash and rinse well afterwards.

Try using normal washing powder mixed with hot water
Just fill a basin with water and bleach and the stains will remove, leave for half hour or so. Alternatively, i think salt and a scourer works wonders too.
Having tried all the suggested remedies over a number of years, the A No.1 product is called 'Bar Keeper's Friend'. It's a white powder . It also cleans sinks and much else.
Lakeland limited make a Magic eraser block which is a sponge that removes stubborn,deep-seated stains without chemicals or detergents.Brilliant for cleaning mugs and cutlery as well. After use just rinse under the tap.Flash make something similar but I can't remember what it's called but they sell it in Homebase.
I use Whizz Oxy. Any of the other oxy powders will work just as well. Put the powder in the cup (twp teaspoons) fill with hot water and leave for an hour. It works really well and it's cheap.
Sterlising tablets used for babies bottles should work too.
