Getting rid of rust?

The griddles on my BBQ have gotten a little rusty and was wondering how I coud get rid of the rust?

I have given them a good wash with fairy power spray but has not got rid of the rust.

Any help would be great, having a BBQ on Saturday.

Scrub with a wire brush and oil afterwards.

Hi Deano1983.
Tin foil also removes rust from metal. Take a pice of tine foil and rub it over the area that is rusty.

Brillo pad - and then wash with fairy liquid - the rust will come back again but they will be clean enough to have your BBQ on.
