Best Strawberry compost

What's the best Strawberry plant compost?
On the basis of a BBC Gardening site I was planing on a mix of Equal parts of John Innes 2 with Standard Multi purpose compost. Seems like a good mix - but do I add vermiculite to this for drainage? - or leave that out in this case?
Couldnt find a contact for that gardening page - so seemed a good idea to ask here anyway
The Strawberry plants I am potting up are young Chelsea Pensione (Late season cropping) and Challenger (perpetual) - but I guess this compost question could be applied to all strawberry plants. I have some others in growbags - but growbags can get a bit soggy.
