Is there a safe way of separating two drinking glasses that have accidentally been stuck together by someone jamming them together in a stack? (They are different sizes and thickness of glass.) Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Not sure if it will work but try heating the bottom glass in hot water to try to ever so slightly expand it...
Not experienced at this but well I would try first:

pouring a little oil or washing up liquid between any gap there might be between the two. then leave it to try and trip though to lubricate the surfaces allowing you to pull/twist them apart. Or try laying the glasses in the shallow pool of oil that way the oil might seap through.

Maybe warming or cooling might contract (shrink) the glass allowing you to pull/twist apart.

Thanks for the replies, I am going off to try the suggestions straight away
Try putting ice cubes in the "inside" glass and then hold the "outside" glass in hot water (NOT boiling), they should just seperate after a couple of minutes
