Carpet Stain, help help please!!

I'll explain the whole story just, I have this remote control car that runs on some green petrol stuff. Just had my whole house re carpetted and I split this crap on my carpet!! I've cleaned it with Vanish spray thingy but this morning I realised its stripped the carpet of its colour!! The carpet was a light brown and now theres these yellow/green patches.. Is there anything I can do? like maybe re-dye the area affected or have I just spent �600 and have to live with my error. please please make me feel better! thanks

Other than clean the whole carpet with a cleaning machine, i'm at a loss.
Have you thought about ringing a specialist cleaning company up?
Are you insured?

Not insured yet... but.... I see where your going with that! I'll probably use that as a last resort.. I'll look for these specialist cleaning people, didn't think of that for some reason! I Appreciate the suggestion.. Thanks
