ihave slush in my header tank how can i get rid of it

If its the main tank and not the central heating tank, all you need to do is turn off the water main and run the hot taps until the header tank drains. you can then wipe the tank out and fit a lid if you havent already got one. This will help keep the water clean. When you turn the main back on , the tank will automatically fill up.
