Getting rid of furniture

Hiya,
My boyfriend has just ordered a new couch and we want to get rid of his old set. It's in great condition still (just not very comfortable) and we're going to try selling it on a place like gumtree. However, if it doesn't sell, is there a charity somewhere that might come and collect it and put it to good use?

Thanks!

I had my old sofa bed and coffee table collected by our local charity St David's Foundation on Friday. I'm sure if you phone your local charity shops they will suggest something. Other than that check with your local council as they collect old furniture that is put to good use also.

:o)
