Is there any law about the height of Christmas type pine trees, height and distance to properties? Our neighbour has one that is over 20 feet high and is 10 feet from our property on the boundry. The thing that I fear is that when we get windy weather (the tree always blows our way) it will come through our window or smash into our car as the front is block paved for the car.

Not sure if the high-hedge laws cover this, 1 tree isn't a hedge ... contacting your local council would be your safest option.
