Try exploring your County Council's website to see if their Trading Standards office has a list of Approved Traders. The qualification for inclusion is quite strict and looks for honest and fair business practices.

my mother just had one.....bout 8" square and roman glass came out and replaced for 60.

Its not the cost of the glass, its the call-out charge. Far the cheapest way is to go and buy the piece of glass at a merchant and DIY - if you can.
