What size electric shower can I replace my Triton T70si with, without upgrading cable, switch etc.
My shower unit is 20 metres from the consumer unit with a 40 amp pullswitch.
Anyone recommend any decent units ? Thanks

What size cable feeds the shower ?
Question Author
6mm T+E
Don't go for anything bigger than an 8.5 kw, I would go for a Mira, I install a hell of a lot of these and have found them to be superb, have a look atthe Mira Sport or sprint, can't remember the KW of them off hand, or if you want to go a bit posher the Mira Advance is a brilliant shower but they are about 250-300 good luck, Ray

Thanks very much Ray
Hi again, One thing I should have mentioned is cable and water entry on the Mira both are on the right hand side so if the one you are swapping it for is on the left you are going to have to alter either the cable or water or maybe even both, so check out where they enter your shower, if you just want a straight swap you might be as well to look around at other makes as well, especially if the area is tiled, good luck, Ray
