ford mondoe remote locking faulty (1998)

remote keyfob won't lock all the doors, it locks the rear drivers door but then the door unlocks immediately again itself hence i have to lock the car manually with the key, this use to only happen with the front passengers door where i had to lock it manually from the inside before getting out of the car and the remote key would lock the rest. HELP APPRECIATED PLEASE !!! .
