I have bought some old books (50+ years old) which have that musty old-book smell. Any ideas about how I can treat them?

I recently bought some anti moth plastic discs which you hang in wardrobes to chase away the moths and they have a really strong lavender smell. Every time I now open the wardrobe a delightful waft of lavender fragrance comes out, so I wonder if you put your books in a sealed black polythene bag for a week or so with one of these lavender moth fragrance discs, they would get rid of the musty smell?. I think you can also buy anti moth treatments with a lemon fragrance too - so much better than the original moth ball smell ! Unfortunately it's not the best time of year to put them outside in the garden for a good dose of fresh air, which might have a similar cleansing effect.
Get a freezer bag ...put Shake N Vac powder in the bag with the book , and shake the bag for a minute to allow the powder to get into all the pages , leave it sealed for for a couple of days then flick and shake the pages .Cat litter is supposed to be good too.Same method.
Sorry I can't help with the book problem, but could Wendys please tell me where I can get the lavender smelling moth discs

Thanks x
