scratched ceramic basin

i have a white ceramic basin and i have managed to mark it with my steel watch strap. how can i get the marks off?

Try a metal polish, like Duraglit or the liquid on in the tin (Brasso?). Try it out on the underneath of the basin first, to make sure it isn't going to make its own stain, though!

Metal polishes contain very fine abrasives and it might polish off the metal.

However, if by 'mark' you mean scratch, I doubt this would work.

Try mixing a small amount of grout into a thick paste then using a cloth and one finger rub along the scatch untill it disappears.
