Pepper plant not well

A friend gave me a pepper plant which I put in my conservatory. It has two lovely green peppers on it and a red one (though the red one is a bit brown at the bottom). The leaves at the top have gone a bit speckled/translucent and the bottom ones went yellow and dropped off. What am I doing wrong?
