Why are pillows always a lot cooler on the other side?

I presume you mean, that if you've been lying on it and then turn it over, then its cooler on the other side - thats just coz of the heat from your head makes the side you're lying on very warm. Apparently we loose something like 70 % of body heat through our bonces so that would explain it! :)
