I've got some new lovely fluffy towels.
The problem is that the fluff comes off.
They've been through the wash a couple of times but still it's happening. One particular towel is purple and my bathroom is white and it leaves a nice thin film of purple fluff everywhere everytime I use it. I've just washed my hair and I combed a load of the stuff out of it.
Can somebody please tell me it'll pass after another wash or two.

Hi Llamatron. Next time you wash them put them in tumble dryer, hopefully this will sort things. skylight
And don't use fabric conditioner on towels. It coats the fibres makeing them somewhat slippery, and this leads to further fibre loss. The coating also gives the towels a less absorbent surface. Your fluff will eventually disappear with further washings

I'm using Bold 2 in 1 tablets. Does that count as fabric conditioner?
