Gas Meters

Hi i have just bought a property which i plan to convert into a downs stairs and upstairs seperate flats. I have a small problem with the gas meter, there is only one, and i need 2 what are the costs of this or do the gas people put it in free.

The work has to be done by the gas distribution company for your area. They will charge for the work. (I don't have personal knowledge of their charges but, based upon previous answers here on AB, I'd guesss that the charge might be close to �500).
