Try soaking the areas with white vinegar, then wash in the machine.....it worked on my son's T-shirts.
On the day, i was unable to get AB tO accept my reply - here goes another try. Two suggestions: Try to avoid synthetic materials because they do not "breathe" anything like as well as natural fibre. Cotton is very good in this respect but not as warm as wool. There are a few synthetics around which are fairly good (especially if treated with the Scotch proprietary material to process body moisture) but they have limited uses. Secondly, avoid deodorants and many would advise you against anti-perspirants altogether. If you are concerned about odour then apply a light coat of vinegar (with a lump of cotton wool for example) after washing and leave at least overnight (removes it completely, my need fresh application some weeks later - works extremely well on feet as well). But do not apply the vinegar immediately after shaving or waxing, it will sting a bit.
Correction: ....may need fresh application.....
