Here's one to solve.... some years ago (15-ish?) I bought, from the Ideal Home Exhibition, a light fitting that went into a bowl of soil, then planted some plants in the soil..... then, by touching the leaves of the plants I could switch the light bulb on and off or dim it..... I loved that gadget!!! I have since lost it in moving house. Has anyone else heard of it, and do you know if/where I could get hold of another one? I would be SO grateful for any help!!

You are not dreaming I used to have one, I have not seen them anywhere for ages though.

In the same search that brought up your question!

I'm tempted! do they really work then?

I'm was looking for a light bulb that would help plants grow...a substitute for daylight......
If I find one it would be a great combo with this lamp!!
