What's the best way to get rid of a greenhouse. Mine is old and I want rid of it. How easy are they to dismantle and dispose of?

why not put a card in your local supermarket "Greenhouse free to dismantle and take away"
The way I got rid of mine, (a little bit if work, mind you), it would have been no good to anyone, I used a metal cutting blade on my saw, took it to pieces, gave the Dustmen a drink, and they took the lot. It was worth it.
I tend to agree with the "freebie" aspect. Surely there will be somebody out there who will want it if they can get it for nothing. If a card in your local supermarket doesn't work, try either a freead in your local newspaper or put a notice on your front gate.
Just last week I got rid of my 10ftx8ft aluminium framed greenhouse (a colleague was happy to take it off my hands as it was free). It took him approx. 4 hours to dismantle (single handedly). 2 hours of that was spent taking out the glass, and a further 2 hours unscrewing all the nuts and bolts. It would have been quicker if he had realised sooner that he didn't need to take apart every joint, but could have dismantled it in sections (which he did, eventually). Plus he was being careful as he wanted to save all the glass etc. I'd definitely recommend offering it free to anyone who'll come and dismantle it - all that's needed is patience, a spanner, and an angle grinder if its firmly fixed down to concrete. Good luck!
