This is probably a very ameuterish ploy, however for the record why not buy a price guide, or use one of the very many sites which are set up for this very purpose. Start with http://www.autotrader.co.uk/ In the event that you can't be bothered to do even that, I'll give you twenty quid and a lift home.

Just add a bit on afterwards to allow for the buyer knocking you down a bit!
aren't the book prices also published in the Autotrader and/or Which Car? available from most newsagents?
Get the Autotrader magazine for a few weeks and you'll be able to learn what sort of price range you can ask for it must be really annoying when you see you've priced your car a grand less than it should be and it goes too quick or a grand too much and you can't sell . Oh and Murphys law says when you've sold it at a knock down price the phone will never stop ringing with buyers wiiling to pay the full ammount
Current market value is about 3500 for a 2000 W reg model, and just over 4 grand for an '01Y car.
